Position Summary:

Creative seeks a Private Sector Engagement Advisor for the anticipated USAID/Georgia Resilient Communities Program. USAID/Georgia’s Resilient Communities Activity will strengthen the resilience capacity of at-risk Georgian communities, improving their economic conditions and ability to mitigate economic shocks and malign influence. Targeted communities will include those along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) with Georgia’s occupied regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and may also include additional communities in other regions that USAID or the Activity deem as being especially at risk.

Reporting and Supervision:

The Private Sector Engagement Advisor will report to the Chief of Party (COP) and supervise technical staff

Expected Outcomes:

Lead the Program’s private sector development activities under the direction of the COP Provide technical design, implementation leadership, and oversight to interventions supporting private sector development and rural economic growth Improve the capacity of at-risk Georgian communities Facilitate business linkages and partnerships, as well as PPP for attracting investments. Lead innovative and market-led approaches to rural development issues. Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Foster strong and collaborative partnerships with the private sector in Georgia Build relationships with private sector firms, both domestic and foreign and integrate them into program activities Develop and manage partnerships with private sector leading to greater development impact, attracting investment, and facilitating business linkages. Plan and implement outreach to engage private sector and foster collaboration opportunities Coordinate efforts in private sector engagement with national, municipal, and local government and CSOs to develop public-private partnerships Maintain strong relationships and collaboration with the client and other implementing partners working on resilience strengthening and economic growth Ensures that best practices are integrated from ongoing projects as appropriate Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities as they relate to private sector partnerships, resilience strengthening and improving economic conditions Provides management, leadership, mentorship, and supervises technical staff in private sector engagement Perform other duties as assigned**Qualifications** Required Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience in a relevant field required 5+ years of experience in developing and managing private sector partnerships 5+ years of experience in private sector engagement in the context of rural economic development Ability to work closely with host country governments and local organizations and stakeholders at the national, regional, and local levels Capacity to engage business and private sector stakeholders, and lead innovative and market-led approaches to rural development issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience supporting USAID or other development organizations in a similar capacity Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Georgian Ability to work in Georgia Georgian nationals high encouraged to apply Only finalists will be contacted.
