Health Programme Coordinator – National Position

Role Purpose: As a member of the Save the Children Somaliland, the health program coordinator will work closely with project teams and the other clinical staff. The Health Program coordinator will be based in Hargeisa with travel to Burco and Borama SCI offices, they will be lead program person for Health projects in Somaliland. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Location: Hargeisa

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Nursing, Medicine, or Public Health from an accredited University. Master’s in Public Health will be an added advantage. Registration with the relevant health bodies is crucial. Fluency in English and Somali languages Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in both emergency and developmental health program set up. Willing to travel and live in difficult and remote areas.
